Sometimes when you experience one of Florida's state parks for the first time, it takes your breath away! When I walked out to the clearing to get my first glimpse of Paynes Prairie I justt couldn't believe I was in Florida. So much Florida wildlife call the Prairie home including bison and wild horses! Next time you are in the Gainesville area, be sure you carve out some time to be astonished by nature!
