Just a few miles off interstate 24, you will find some of the most beatiful Tennessee waterfalls you have ever seen! The name Old Stone Fort comes from the prehistoric 'fort' that the Native people of this region created between 80 and 550 AD. It is believed this structure was used as a gathering place for tribes in the area to come together for sacred ceremonies. It is easy to see why this land was used for sacred activities with the endless views of powerful waterfalls of the Duck and Little Duck rivers that will leave you in absolute awe.
