At mile marker 316 on the STUNNING Blue Ridge Parkway, you'll find the most famous and visited waterfall on the scenic drive, Linville Falls. The falls plummet 2,000 feet over the course of two falls in the Linville Gorge (which just so happens to be the US' first ever official designated wilderness area!). Be sure to grab one of the 70 campsites nearby so you can enjoy a full day at the falls.
