Every child holds the memory of catching lightening bugs (for my friends in the Midwest and South) or fireflies (for my friends in the West and New England) in the warm summer evenings close to their heart. As soon as dusk began to settle in, it was time to grab your mason jar. Ah sweet childhood memories. Lightening bugs will always be magical.
