Just a short trip northwest of Little Talbot Island, you will find Big Talbot Island State Park. One of the unique features of this Florida park is the famous 'Boneyard Beach', with three miles of shoreline along the Nassau sound filled with 'dead' trees and beautiful driftwood. These trees serve as a protective barrier to the thriving nature island by blocking winds and reducing wave energy as they crash along the shoreline. Truly a unique sight!
